Serves 4-6. GF, NF
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 cups frozen berries
Place the frozen berries in a pan and simmer gently until softened and the juices released.
Take off the heat and add the chia seeds, mix well.
Leave to cool and thicken; if not thick enough add 1 tsp more chia seeds.
This jam goes well with the Multi-Grain Porridge and the Buckwheat Pancakes but can add taste to any dish and is a great alternative to sugar-loaded commercial jam.
